Our mission at Qowlor Homes is to provide supportive care to residents with behavioral health disabilities, enabling them to achieve their highest level of functioning and fulfillment. We place an emphasis on the development of daily living and social skills to assist residents to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest.Our mission comes from the formative professional experience of its founders whose first jobs involved providing care and support for physically disabled children and teens in a context with disability meant social isolation.
Our vision is a world in which the stigma and isolation that comes with behavioral health issues disappear and each individual is embraced as they areAt Qowlor Homes, we aim to accommodate both short and long-term residents. While some of our residents will eventually return to less-structured settings, some residents choose to make Qowlor their permanent home.“Building community through nurturing care” is more than a catchphrase, it is the ethos that forms the foundation of our work. We endeavor to build a family-like community, dedicated to helping our residents reach their fullest potential and enhance their quality of life.

Qowlor Homes was established out of our founders’ passion for working with people and it shows in our culture. Our resident-centered approach ensures allows us to create a home-like environment in which our residents thrive and are able to reach their full potential.
All our staff are carefully selected for experience, competence, and passion for our work. We also go out of our way to exceed state-mandated competences for each position
Trained staff provide transportation to doctor’s appointments, family visits and community events.
We encourage family and friends to visit. Our visiting hours are 8am – 8pm every day. Families or guardians provide us a list of approved visitors. It is important to note, however, visitation is at the discretion of staff based on the behavior of the resident and the behavior of the visitor.
Our trained staff supervise and administer medication based on physicians instructions. They remain in contact with physicians to ensure residents are up to date. All medication is kept under lock and key and out of reach of residents.
Qowlor Homes accepts the following provider:
MercyCare, MercyMaricopa, Banner University, United HealthCare Community Plan.
Participation in family outings is based on each individual’s treatment plan. Like visitation, family outings are at the discretion of staff, the behavior of the resident and the visitor. Overnight trips for birthdays, holidays or other special events will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
